Terms of Service

By creating an account or accessing the Transylvania Angels Network ("TAN") platform you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Notice, and any role-specific agreements executed during onboarding.

T.A.N.reserves the right to update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated to registered members at least 14 days before taking effect.

Investor accounts are limited to individuals and entities approved by the T.A.N.board. Founders must be authorized representatives of the applying company.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate profile information and safeguarding authentication credentials. Notify T.A.N.immediately about suspected unauthorized access.

Approved investors must execute the membership contract generated via the platform and settle associated dues through the payment steps described in the contract.

Membership activation and ongoing access are contingent upon timely payment validation by T.A.N.administrators.

Founders agree to provide truthful information and to upload only materials they have rights to share. Sensitive documents must be placed in the staged data rooms provided by TAN.

Investors receiving access to startup materials commit to using those assets solely for evaluation purposes and to honor confidentiality requirements.

Pitch nights, showcases, and workshops are governed by the agenda, code of conduct, and communication guidelines published for each event.

Registrations are non-transferable without explicit approval from T.A.N.coordinators.

Users may not upload malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or obstruct the workflows of other members.

T.A.N.may suspend or terminate access for behavior that violates these Terms, confidentiality commitments, or local regulations.

T.A.N.processes personal data as described in our Privacy Notice. We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards including access controls, encryption in transit, and audit logging.

Members must refrain from exporting or redistributing platform data except as explicitly permitted by T.A.N.policies or agreements.

All software, branding, and documentation supplied by T.A.N.remain our property. Startup materials and investor submissions remain the property of their respective owners.

You grant T.A.N.a limited license to host and process submitted content for the sole purpose of delivering the platform services.

T.A.N.facilitates connections but does not guarantee investment outcomes or the accuracy of startup information.

To the fullest extent permitted by law T.A.N.disclaims liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from platform use.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Cluj-Napoca, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
