1. Our vision
Transylvania Angels Network is part of Cluj Startups, a non-profit organisation founded in 2012 to support the growth of the local startup ecosystem.
We are not an investment fund.
T.A.N. is a network that facilitates connections, learning, and investments. Each member decides independently if and how they participate in any investment opportunity.
Early-stage startups need more than capital. They need guidance, feedback, and access to experience. Investors need clarity, structure, and trusted deal flow.
T.A.N. exists to bring these two sides together in a thoughtful and structured way.

2. What you gain as a member
As a member of Transylvania Angels Network, you gain access to:
- Relevant data and updates from the startup ecosystem
- Curated startup scouting, screening, and ongoing monitoring
- Regular networking events and meaningful introductions
- Educational sessions focused on angel investing
- Discounts on carry fees
- Hands-on support throughout the investment process
Our management team engages with 20 to 30 startups every month through events, accelerators, mentoring sessions, and online meetings. From these interactions, we invite the most promising teams to pitch during our monthly meetups, usually 3 to 4 startups per session.
We then support members with deeper discussions, diligence calls, and structured analysis to help facilitate informed investment decisions.
In parallel, we organise educational workshops, connect members with venture funds and startups, and host in-person networking dinners or breakfasts in Cluj. Most activities are also accessible online, so location is not a constraint.
